COASTAL CLEAN UP 2010
Such a great time! We got so much trash and had fun doing it. Thanks to everyone who turned out for it, we appreciate it. It was kinda hot and sunny out there.

Reminders!
Meetings after school in Mr. Clarke's room every Thursday!
Room to Room recycling will be assigned in shifts to people who have available free/aiding periods.
Milk bottles will be carried out to the "big blue" (the large single stream recycling dumpster in the lower parking lot) on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Coastal Cleanup is on Saturday, Sept. 25th 2010, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. @ Battery Park in New Castle County.
Keep posted for updates, for things will probably be posted and/or changed frequently!

BACK TO SCHOOL.
Back to school means back to work!
There will be an interest meeting on Sept. 9th after school in Room 207 for anyone interested in new info or just coming out to support the team!!
MILK BOTTLES: They are back. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. WE CAN DO IT!
ROOM TO ROOM RECYCLING: It's back as well. Wednesdays and Fridays.
We will make this year our best yet! Let's go for it!

Summer!!!
Hey everyone!
It's summer time!
I know the upcoming school year is far from every one's minds right now, but we need to think about Green Team 2010-2011 over these next couple months.
Think of ideas for events, fundraisers, volunteering, or ways to streamline our recycling process even more.
What will 5 minutes of brainstorming take away from your day? Just think about the year it could help make even better.
(5 minutes < 1 year)
Think. And have a fantastic summer! See you in the fall. :)

MARCH 17th ~ Pancake Day! Bring your own plate and $3 to get a delicious meal in Room 312 at the beginning of the day!
MARCH 20th ~ Beach Grass Planting! Starts @ 9 a.m. Bring a jacket! Location: T.B.D.

Snow, snow, snow, snow.......
Well, snow has delayed all of our operations for a week.
So, enjoy the time off and come back to school on tuesday the 16th ready to come to the meeting after school!

Hey everyone! I finally got around to putting up the blog!
In our last couple meetings, we have discussed ways to get new members, and expounded upon our recycling program. So you haven't missed that much.
EVERY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY AFTER SCHOOL, we sort and pack up the milk bottles from lunch into boxes, and we collect the recycling from teacher's rooms. Please come help!
Our NEW MEETING DAY IS TUESDAY so we may collaborate with our Charter counterparts.
So, remember! Tuesday= Meetings @ 2:35 p.m.
Wednesday & Friday= Milk Bottle and Recycling after school
Everybody, have a good 3 day weekend, and see you back at school on monday!
